Operation Christmas Clean Up

COLLECTIONS THIS WEEK:
3^rd Monday through 3^rd Thursday followed by 4^th Friday. Place carts out before 7 am. (No Holiday this week) (Next week – only Thursday will be affected by Holiday. 4^th Thursday will be on a one-day delay. 4^th Monday – 4^th Wednesday will be on regular schedule). Please remember no paper plates, solo cups, food scraps, nor bagged materials should be in your recycling cart!

What if my cart was not picked up?

Please report misses greater than 2 days via email to support@recycling-alliance.com. If email is not an option, we can also be reached at 256-801-2278(CART). Please check our website for daily status updates. www.recycling-alliance.com.

Acceptable Items Only

#1 and #2 Narrow Neck Plastic Bottles

Aluminum & Steel Cans
Paper and Flattened Cardboard
NO Miscellaneous Metals or Plastics

Please do not bag your recycling; it should be loose in the cart. Do not include hangers, hoses, cords, rods, car parts, miscellaneous metals, cat litter containers, etc. These are small samples of incorrect items that can damage processing equipment and contaminate good recycling materials. Thank you!

The Solid Waste Disposal Authority (SWDA) & the Recycling Alliance of North Alabama (RANA), along with Operation Green Team, City of Huntsville, the City of Madison, and Madison County announce Operation Christmas Clean Up.

Operation Christmas Clean Up provides residents two special off-site collection locations to assist residents with recycling/disposal of these items which tend to be in abundance after the holiday season.

We will be accepting Christmas Trees, Electronics and Cardboard.
