The Recycling Alliance of North Alabama (RANA) is an opt-in service funded by the Solid Waste Disposal Authority of the City of Huntsville.

All eligible Huntsville, Madison, and Madison County residents wishing to participate in this new recycling program MUST register for the service and the new 95/96 gallon cart. If households are already participating in the recycling program currently offered by SWDA, they still must register for the new service.

Recycling Updates

For Missed Collection reports, please let us know within THREE BUSINESS DAYS by emailing support@recyclin g-alliance.com.

Allow 5 feet of separation between carts or any other objects (cars, poles, mailboxes). Please do not overfill your carts, nor bag your materials. Overflow items outside of carts will not be collected, nor will carts that are packed too full to empty.

Crews will not return to collect carts that are either not out for collection on your regular collection day, are overfilled, contain incorrect materials, or that are too close to other objects. Please have your cart at the curb PRIOR TO 7:00 a.m.
