Some JANUARY ROUTES ARE DELAYED: The collection contractor is working cleanup on various daily routes that were not completed on time. Additionally, they are running some sub routes on schedule. Please place cart out on scheduled collection day and allow up to 5 additional days for collection.
On Wednesday, January 21, drivers are working on the following routes:
3rd Friday, January 16th
3rd Monday, January 19th
3rd Tuesday, January 20th
Crews will move on to their next day’s routes as they complete these assignments.
A lengthy list of reported misses are also being worked on daily. Crews will be working through the weekend.
ACCEPTABLE ITEMS: LOOSE IN CART – NO GARBAGE BAGS PLEASE!
- #1 and #2 Narrow Neck Plastic Bottles (No other plastics or bags)
- Aluminum & Steel Cans (no miscellaneous metals)
- Paper
- Flattened Cardboard
ANY OTHER Household garbage should go in green garbage carts or to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility @ 1055 A Cleaner Way, Huntsville, AL 35805.
